Re-use Halloween Costumes

I am glad that I did not get the girls new costumes for this past Halloween. I reused our DD1′s costume from last year. I let her wore a red long sleeve shirt under it while last year she wore a white one. For our DD2, she wore her Dora dress that she once wore during a themed birthday party of our friend’s daughter. I did not spend any dime for a costume this Halloween so I am very happy about it. The good thing is that, both of them were not really insistent on having a new one. When I told our older daughter that she’ll wear her old one again, she just said, it’s okay Mommy it still look good. She’s a darling and knows how to be thrifty too :-) The most important thing is that they’re having fun with friends trick or treating.
