Back then I was always conservative in the way I dress. I usually ward myself off from loud or bright colors in dress or tops and also not so attracted to printed shoes or accessories. My closet is really bland to look at and usually you can only see shirts and jeans. Honestly I only have one penciled cut skirt and I only wore it once at church
I have a long skirt too that a friend gave and I supposed to wear it now paired with tank top for summer flare, but not quite ready for it yet.
I guess later on in life I wanted to be more experimental so I started to buy colored clothing aside from the usual neutral colored tones or earth tones. Early last month I posted here in my blog about the little blue dress that I bought at Marshall’s. It has a leopard print slim belt and I’ve been looking for a shoes to go with it. Luckily, I found a perfect one at Target, a Mossimo brand, that was on sale for $20. I have the right size so I snagged that deal.
I wore it to church last Sunday and I have the oxox animal print watch my cousin gave me and a pair of tri-color curtain earrings I got at Charlotte Russe for $1.99 to go with it. It was just a simple ensemble, but I felt good about it. This was my first time to wear a leopard or animal print shoes and I’m loving the experiment. I believe that what matters is you are comfortable with what you are wearing and you feel good inside.
