Today our daughter has their bike rodeo at her school. They are allowed to bring their bikes and scooter to school as well as the safety protection like helmets, gloves, elbow and knee pads. She was very excited that even when she went to sleep last night she kept mentioning I should not forget to bring her bike to her school. As soon as she woke up this morning it was the first thing she asked me about.
At their school, all the kids have their bikes and they are all very excited. I wish to stay with her and help in her school but I have to be home for the painter. Anyhow, I know she will have a grand time and will have lots of stories when I pick her up. Next week they will have water day at school, and they were told to wear their swimsuits and coverall. They will have to play with water and blow bubbles. She is excited for that too and said she will be wearing her pink swimsuits.

visiting from PF, hope to see you around. thanks and have a great weekend.
your daughter is cute and she really looks happy. I remember my son when he started biking and I insisted on his wearing protective gears. He did not like it but eventually gave way to wearing the helmet (no helmet, no bike rule). His friends would tease him (it is not a rule here in the Philippines) but I stood my ground. Eventually, he found out that his friends were actually asking their parents for helmets but were not given one because of the high cost, so in the end, he knew I was right.
